Nissan Elgrand Intelligent Key " Smart Key " E51 Cut and program remote service
What is an Elgrand key ?
The smart key allows you to keep the key in your pocket when unlocking and starting the Nissan Elgrand. The key is identified via a proximity sensor in the car door and a radio pulse generator in the key housing as soon as the driver is within approximately 1.5 metres of the vehicle. To unlock you need to be within 1.5 metres and then push the button on the handle. When you sit inside the car you can simply turn the ignition with the need to insert a key into the ignition. The Nissan Elgrand has a 3 button remote. It has lock / unlock and side door buttons.

Our Locksmiths can come and make the key, The "Emergency key that fits in the back of the remote" and cut the groves on the key so it will work like a normal key, and then program the key to the cars computer so the car can start. This is an extra charge from the service listed above.
